VASA-JSDA Partnership

The Vascular Access Society of the Americas (VASA) is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Japanese Society of Dialysis Access (JSDA). This formal agreement marks the beginning of a collaborative partnership aimed at advancing the field of vascular access through mutual engagement, shared knowledge, and international cooperation.

The primary objective of the MOU is to identify and pursue initiatives that are of mutual benefit to both organizations and their members. This alliance seeks to promote innovation in vascular access, improve standards of patient care, and support the growth and development of both societies on a global stage.

As part of the MOU, VASA and JSDA have agreed to engage in several key activities, including reciprocal delegate exchanges. These exchanges will allow each society to nominate up to two representatives to attend the other’s annual scientific meetings. The host society will provide complimentary conference registration and lodging accommodations for the nominated delegates. These opportunities are designed to foster international dialogue, the sharing of best practices, and the dissemination of cutting-edge research and clinical techniques.

VASA encourages its members to consider participating in this exciting initiative. Those interested in attending a future JSDA meeting as part of the delegation are invited to contact the VASA office for information regarding the nomination and selection process.
